  • Now We Know Our ABCs!

    Because of your generous donation to my project "Now we know our ABC's", my students get excited to learn all about the alphabet. In my classroom we have a new "letter of the week" each week. I've implemented the donated materials as instructional tools to introduce and to practice alphabet recognition, awareness, and identification. Having the proper tools and materials to teach the alphabet has been extremely beneficial for my classroom as the activities we now get to do are engaging and fun.

The especially love the super hero capes and I think if they had a choice they would wear them all day! We also love the donated materials because they are easy to clean so everyone in our class stays safe and healthy since they are such popular items. My students need resources that will help them create and act out imaginative play situations. These resources will help the youngest of learners understand how to apply prior knowledge in play based situations. All children understand that imaginative play is an opportunity to test out prior knowledge of the world and to apply new concepts in a fun, safe, and interactive way. These resources will help students take their knowledge to the next level. They will use these dramatic play materials in the classroom to set up creative home-living scenarios in which each child has a specific role in their play. The students will use these resources to benefit their growth with learning life skills at a young age.

About my class
