I will be working with students with a variety of learning needs and hope to create a more adventurous classroom library for them. Reading has always been a challenge for my students. This year, I want my students to step away from the computer and find adventure in books. Currently, my students are interested in learning about different cultures, specifically Japanese culture. They started an Anime Club the past year and now, they want to explore reading manga (Japanese comics). Helping me build a classroom library of high interest books, such as manga, will provide my students an opportunity to enjoy reading.
