  • Calm Kids!

    Funded Nov 23, 2022

    Greetings! Thank you for your donations to help support our autistic students. They were extremely pleased to see the "calming corners" in the class room. They use the corners quiet often. One particular student uses it everyday after she completes her class work. Her autism causes her to need frequent breaks which the Calming Corner provides. Other students use them as needed. They are perfect! Some students prefer the pillow corner and other the corner with the chair. With people like you, our students are able to get some of the assistance needed to help them along the way!”

    Thank you so much for being a part of this awesome group of people coming together to support and encourage the growth taking place in my classroom. With your help, we are able to provide our students with resources they would not normally have. We are consistently motivating our students to become the best they can be. These monitors will help our students with in class projects. This will provide students who can not afford to purchase lap top insurance a way to still participate in the lessons. Your support lets the students know that they are cared for and people want to support there journey to succeed. Thank you for making all of this possible!”

This monitor in our classroom will update the technology we have. When linked to the Apple TV, it will display the screens from the iPad for everyone to see. Also, when it's connected to my computer, we will be able to use the TV to project PowerPoint presentations, graphic organizers, videos, photos, and much more to assist in academic subjects. Students will also be able to project their screens to the external display from their chrome books. It would be an awesome addition to the classroom. Students will be more engaged when interacting with technology using this display. Please consider supporting this project. It wouldn't be possible without supporters like you!
