Our students are learners who have sensory integration needs. Students can choose to go the Sensory Area when feeling overwhelmed or frustrated, or after they complete all their work. Please help us stock our classroom with items to fill our Sensory Area. I am requesting items that may have different textures, like slime or sand paper letters, may be used on our light table like the gel letters, or as fidgets to be used throughout learning which help students focus. Students will use some items to block out sounds and other stimuli when feeling overwhelmed, like the tent.
