Currently, the pandemic has affected students tremendously where they have lost some academic skills. This project will be used with math especially. Students will be learning how to regroup addition and subtraction problems, telling time, counting money etc. Yes, it could be effective using just paper and pen; but as students see what he or she writes on a white board this will help spark their learning even more. Students will be able to see how each number and step correlates with each other. In general students love to write, this is just another unique way for them to express their thoughts and ideas on a whiteboard table. This project will be used for small group settings. For example, 3-4 students can be sitting at each corner and will have the opportunity to receive more assistance in areas that one is struggling in. The main purpose of this project is to help students as they transition into the next grade. With 3rd grade being the grade where students will be given the EOG, I want to ensure that all students are prepared and receive the best instruction as they transition into the next grade.
