By donating to our project, you make it possible for my students to choose from a variety of books (genres, authors, characters, etc.) based on their interests and reading abilities. Reading then becomes inviting, magical, and interesting when students choose books they can decode and comprehend. As they become more proficient in reading, students can continue choosing books that peek their interests and individual needs. Therefore, having a variety of children's books in our library will certainly result in strong readers, inventors, problem solvers, as well as independent thinkers in our classroom.
