  • Mrs. Ogonek's Resource

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Thank you for your donation to my classroom. I have always wanted students to have a bin that they can call their own. They can keep resources in their drawer and keep all their supplies organized. Each student feels a little more ownership of their learning, they also feel more important and special when they have their own space.

The whiteboard erasers were also a hit. We are using a curriculum that uses rocket ships that is called "blast off" so it ties perfectly to our reading resources. They each have their own eraser that they are responsible for”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ogonek

  • Mrs. Ogonek's 2023 Supplies

    Funded Jul 7, 2023

I can not express enough gratitude for your donations to my classroom. The order seems small and insignificant but I promise it has made this school year run so much smoother. Every student has their own whiteboard eraser and nametag tray. The pawz calming pup has been especially beneficial to help regulate a dysregulated and emotionally fragile student. The pawz pup is something they can hold that helps them take intentional deep breaths and calm their minds and their bodies.

My students love that they have materials in our classroom that they can claim as their own. It gives them ownership of their learning and empowers them to take control of their learning efforts.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ogonek

  • Kindergarten Rock Stars!

    Funded Aug 21, 2021

Thank you for donating to the students in my kindergarten class. We have utilized every single thing that was donated from this project. Because of your generosity we have been able to put on puppet shows, create beautiful art, discover new and interesting facts about insects, and I have been able to make learning more fun and engaging for each student. You have helped me build a classroom from nothing into something beautiful. All of my students have had a difficult time getting used to being in a classroom after the huge impact COVID has had on their lives. Their hearts have been more tender this year and a bit more fragile, your donation has helped make the classroom a fun and welcoming place. Thank you for your generosity and consideration.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ogonek

My students go to a public school in Northern Kentucky. The majority of these students come from low income families. These sweet kids come to school everyday willing to learn and try their best. They deserve so much. Thank you for considering our class to donate to. These materials will only be used in a public school classroom. They will help students engage in learning and hopefully, inspire them to ask more questions about the world around them. I am trying my best to raise a generation of self determined citizens with full hearts and full stomachs.
