My students have enjoyed the new desks in the room. It is now a hot commodity in the room, and students constantly ask if they can sit next. We now have a rotating system in place. My students also often ask to use the bean bag in the room. I noticed the impact that the home-y feeling these items have provided for my classroom, as their engagement in my classroom has increased and their learning has as well. The students who have had the chance to sit in the flexible seating arrangements have increased their grades.”
