Please help me get materials to allow my preschool students to have manipulatives to put their hands on and explore with. These tools will help them learn about how things work. Children need time to build and take things apart. This project will allow them to work with magnetic manipulatives to investigate how to build creations and what materials are magnetic, and how different magnets may not "stick". When working with gears, problem-solving skills are being developed along with the trial and error process. All of these hands-on activities also help develop critical thinking skills, while strengthening fine motor skills. This teaches them the why, what, and how about the world. Our curriculum supports standards-based learning and these material are in alignment with these standards. Thank you so much for considering my project, my students will thoroughly enjoy their explorations.
