I currently use a technology based curriculum called Desmos. I like to stand at my board to teach, but I also need to access the teacher dashboard on my computer. If I had a standing desk, this will give me more flexibility to go back and forth from the board to a laptop to view the teacher dashboard and student work while standing and instructing. If I had a large standing desk, I could place a laptop on there, which would help me navigate the dashboard, and attach another monitor to observe student engagement. This will enable me to always see what my students understand, their strategies, and who I need to assist. Also, since I am not sitting at my desk, I can freely engage with the projected lesson, write on my board, and be within good distance of my dashboard at all times.
