Multi-Sensory and Age Appropriate Learning Tools to Soar in First
Funded Jul 15, 2022I cannot thank you enough for your support of our classroom. So many of these items have assisted us daily. The witch fingers, whisper phones, magnetic dots, and finger eyes have made blending and reading words so much more enjoyable in an age-appropriate way. Students use these almost daily during station time or while working independently. One of my favorite items has been the stretchy seat bands, providing a simple way for students to remain focused while moving as their young bodies need to.
Students have found they are especially fond of our classroom balance board. As a supporter of whole-child wellness and teaching, balance is important and key to their development and ability to learn in the classroom. So many of these items not only support learning, but also support learning that is age-appropriate and focused on fun and engaging play.
I cannot thank you enough for your investment in public education and our classroom. Without gracious contributions such as yours, educators could not provide those things we can with your help. My students and I are forever grateful for your support.”

Mrs. Mays
In This 1st Grade Classroom We Are SOARING Through STEM
Funded Aug 13, 2021I cannot explain the excitement and intrigue brought to my classroom by your generous donations for my classroom STEM bins. When the items first arrived, my students could not wait to use them. I was equally excited to see what they would create. Initially, students used the kits to create items they imagined. As the year has progressed, we have led to guided STEM creations including houses, bridges and a sleigh.
Specifically, during the recent holiday season, students used the items to create a sleigh. These STEM bin projects often happen as partner or group work. This gives my first graders the opportunity to learn how to work with peers and brainstorm. The creations were inventive and students were so excited to share their work.
I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations. I could have never provided this opportunity for in-classroom STEM on my own. When we all work together for the education of our youth, we win.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Mays
