Most students come in without a pencil or we run out of crayons/dry erase markers. This would give my classroom organization by having a class set that would cut down wasting instructional time during class. Also, students will have all the materials they need to get their work done!! Being that I am a first year teacher, I didn’t realize the importance of having plenty of pencils until NOW!! Pencils, crayons and markers are a necessity in every classroom. They are used daily for all kinds of activities. If we do not a regular supply of sharpened pencils along with pencil procedures for sharpening them, then, our classroom will be full of distractions!!
