  • A Place to Call Home!

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

I am writing to share the positive impact of our project, "A Place to Call Home," which has transformed our classroom environment and enhanced the learning experiences of our students.

Through this initiative, we provided each student with a cozy rug to sit on, fostering a sense of belonging and comfort in our classroom. The addition of a rolling chair for our designated student teacher assistant has not only empowered students but has also created a unique opportunity for them to take on leadership roles within the classroom. On special days, the chosen student gets to enjoy the experience of being the teacher, sitting in a teacher's chair, and leading their peers in activities.

The impact of this project has been profound. Students are more engaged, cooperative, and excited to participate in classroom activities. The rugs have also created a welcoming space for collaborative learning, allowing students to gather comfortably for group discussions and projects. By allowing students to take on the role of a teacher, we have witnessed growth in their confidence, communication skills, and sense of responsibility.

We believe that every child deserves a "place to call home" within the classroom, and this project has made significant strides toward achieving that goal. Thank you for your support and encouragement as we continue to create a nurturing and inspiring learning environment for our students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clark

  • Project Headphones

    Funded Aug 4, 2024

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of a class set of headphones to our classroom. Your support has made a significant impact on our students, especially those who may not have the means to purchase their own.

In today's educational environment, technology plays a crucial role in enhancing learning experiences. The headphones you provided have allowed our students to engage more deeply with their lessons. For many of our kids, the ability to use quality headphones means they can focus better, participate in online learning activities, and access educational resources without distractions.

Many of our students come from families facing financial challenges, and the lack of personal headphones can hinder their participation and engagement in class. With your donation, we have ensured that every student has equal access to learning tools that are essential for their success. The headphones have helped create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment, allowing students to thrive both academically and socially.

Thanks to your generosity, we have witnessed improvements in student concentration and participation. They are now more motivated to engage with the curriculum, whether it's listening to educational videos, participating in interactive lessons, or simply enjoying audiobooks during reading time. The smiles on their faces when they use the headphones are a testament to the positive impact your gift has made.

Once again, thank you for your kindness and support. Your contribution has not only provided our students with a necessary resource but has also inspired them to strive for success. We are truly grateful for your commitment to our classroom and our students' futures.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clark

  • Creating Leaders Through Creativity!

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. These supplies lasted us on many projects all year. It was a blessing to not worry about these supplies and how we would get them, knowing they were donated. The students were able to think outside the box and get very creative because they had all the supplies to do it. Our first big project we used the markers and paper to create murals of our local fish in Cave Run lake. The kids absolutely LOVED having "teacher" markers to use on their presentations. They also used construction paper to build a playground model that had to actually work. This was one of our first team building projects of the year. I was able to see students who struggle in academic areas shine through project based learning and the innovation it brought to each project. Thank you for bringing learning to life here at THE.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Clark
