This year in summer school we offered a sewing class to 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. We borrowed machines and were able to teach them machine basics and sew simple projects. Students loved the class and have been asking if they can sew again. Since we do not have sewing machines at our school, we are not able to offer after-school classes throughout the year. These sewing machines will help students build life skills and foster creativity that will enrich their lives for years to come. Please help us give the gift of learning to sew to a child.
