Many of my students need extra supports and other means of communication, whether they can't speak, have minimal verbal skills, or speak another primary language. We achieve this with pictures! As you can imagine, black and white images are boring, and there always seems to be an issue with the school printers. With color printing, the pictures created for communication boards and symbol cards to be used by my non-verbal students can make their voices as vibrant as spoken language. The color contrast can also help with time and efficiency when a student is looking for a specific symbol/word.
