These materials will be used with a wide variety of ages and diagnoses. Many of my students need fidgets or materials they manipulate to be fully engaged in the learning experience. When my students come to speech I need to ensure they are regulated and in the learning zone. Without regulation, my students are distracted and not putting in their maximum effort they are capable of. Active learning is the best type of learning! Challenging goals require fun and engaging activities to ensure the students are learning. I am only able to see some students 1-2 times a week, and because of this, I want to make sure every minute spent working on speech is 100% of their efforts. Purchasing these materials will greatly support my students and their ability to achieve their speech, communication, and social goals.
