These materials will make a huge difference. Not all children have opportunities to visit local libraries especially right now with the pandemic going on. This project will allow my students access to newer that will get them excited about learning because for once they will see themselves on the covers. They will be able to identify with the characters and see themselves as being a part of the story. I believe getting children to love reading genuinely increases their chances at staying in school and succeeding in life. These books could open doors and opportunities for them later on in life that only had to be ignited by a few words on a page.
