  • Proficient Students in Reading and Writing

    Funded Mar 7, 2024

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the two books on reading and writing strategies you gifted me. Your thoughtful gesture means a lot.

I am excited about incorporating these strategies into my lessons, as I believe they will greatly contribute to the development of professional, engaging classes and proficient students. Your support will have a lasting impact on both my teaching and my students' learning.

Thank you once again for your generosity and for recognizing the importance of continuous improvement in education.”

  • Flipped Classroom!

    Funded Nov 3, 2023

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your generous donation towards the purchase of an iPad for our classroom. Your contribution has made a significant difference in the educational environment, enabling children to benefit from innovative technological tools.

With this iPad, I have been able to use applications such as iDoceo to efficiently manage the progress of the children, providing me with a valuable tool for tracking and continuous improvement. Additionally, thanks to apps like OSMO, children have had the opportunity to learn in a fun and interactive way, making the educational process even more enriching.

Your support has not only positively impacted the quality of education but has also created an environment conducive to creative and stimulating learning. I am deeply grateful for your commitment to education and your generosity which has left a lasting mark in my classroom.

Thank you once again for your invaluable contribution.”

  • Growing as Teacher

    Funded Sep 5, 2023

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support in funding my course at the University of San Diego focused on the reading process in children. Your contribution has made a significant impact on my educational journey, and I am genuinely thankful for your belief in my mission to improve the lives of young learners in California.

This course is not just a personal achievement but a significant step towards obtaining my clear credential for teaching in the state of California. The knowledge and insights gained from this program will play a crucial role in my future role as an educator, as I intend to apply these principles when teaching children to read and write in both Spanish and English. Your generosity has not only enabled my own growth but will also positively influence the educational experiences of the students I will have the privilege of teaching. Once again, thank you for your invaluable support and for being a part of this transformative journey.”

  • Books for our Third Grade Library!

    Funded Sep 10, 2023

I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of children's books for our third-grade class. Your contribution to both literature and arts and crafts books has had a profound impact on our students.

Thanks to your support, our students have rediscovered their love for reading. They are now engaged and excited about exploring the world of literature. Even our youngest learners who are still acquiring reading and writing skills have options for age-appropriate reading materials, thanks to your thoughtful donation.

Moreover, the arts and crafts books have brought a new level of creativity and fun to our classroom. Art classes have become a favorite, and the children are thoroughly enjoying expressing themselves through various forms of art.

Your generosity has not only enriched our classroom but has also ignited a lifelong passion for reading and creativity in our students. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and your commitment to our students' education.

Thank you once again for making a difference in the lives of these young learners.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Ibanez

  • New Books for the New Students

    Funded May 10, 2023

Thank you for the books you generously donated to our new class of third graders. Your thoughtful gift will make it easier for them to choose new books and explore different genres. Next year, I will have them read these books and keep on exploring their tastes and favorite topics. I consider it important for a classroom to have its own library because there are many moments in the classroom routines where it is handy to find a book to consult or to read and spend the time from one activity to another. Lastly, these books will greatly benefit their reading skills, imagination, and overall education.

We are truly grateful for your support.”

  • Chapter Books to Read Together!

    Funded Mar 27, 2023

We are immensely grateful for the donation of 30 chapter books. Our students are thrilled to embark on a reading journey together in our school garden. Your generosity will cultivate their love for literature and foster a deeper connection with nature. We are already experiencing, as you can see in the pictures, great moments together in our garden. You can see that they are reading in small groups and that the reading culture and tranquility are unique.

Thank you sincerely for empowering our students through this beautiful gift.”

  • New Books for Our School Library!

    Funded Feb 28, 2023

Thank you very much for your generosity. Now our library looks better and the kids have a wide variety of books to read. Our shelves look better and newer. We have disposed of old broken books and we have replaced them with new ones.

Now the kids are so happy to read every day and they wait for those minutes with excitement. Because they know the books are new and want to see and read them.

Some of the books I bought were perfect for newcomers: more pictures, graphs, etc. and they are engaged now. As you can see, everyone has been pleased!”

  • Classroom Crafting Fun

    Funded Jan 13, 2023

I appreciate your generosity. We are doing very nice crafts such letterings, doing our names for using them during the year, a big display poster about the solar system, etc.

My students loved the materials: they are beautiful, shiny and original. They liked using them and the results are nice and beautiful.

We will continue using them. Not all the materials are fungible, some of the materials can be reused over the time, so we will use them very well to have them nice for the following year(s).”

  • Labeling In Two Languages!

    Funded Sep 16, 2022

Thank you for your generosity. The printers have arrived and I have spent some learning about them and the App. I love all the functions and possibilities they have. I have started, as you can see, to print the first labels, but I am learning quickly and each time I do better labels.

First, I could catalog and label all our chrome book cart. This will make the organization easier. Secondly, I started labeling our classroom stuff in two languages, so that the kids can bridge what they learn in one language with the other. I am planning to do so in mam, the mother tongue of some of our students.”

I like using science books in class because they are fun: they include not only written information but also pictures and graphics. That way even children who have problems in reading or who do not like reading that much can show interest and, hence, develop their reading and scientific skills! I expect my students to get used to science concepts and have fun as they learn. We do not have many science books in class yet, so I expect to enrich our class library with this complete collection of books.
