Loads of Fun in First
Funded Apr 7, 2025Thank you so much for funding this project. We were able to get several learning games for the students. They absolutely LOVE them! They are so excited to get game time so the they can play. They are having so much fun that they don't even realize the learning and skills review that is happening.
We have been playing a shark game that has a paddle like a hammerhead shark. The kids can't get enough of the game. They have so much fun hitting the number cards and calling out the addition or subtraction fact to go along with it. I love that they are reviewing skill that they have to master but also having a blast doing it. They are also asking if they can play the Jenga game - which really is a review of skills. They crack up when the tower tumbles and they have to rebuild it. Not only are the children practicing their much needed academic skills but they are also working on their social skills.
Thank you so much for bringing all this joy into our classroom. We are very grateful for supporters like you!”

Funded May 24, 2024Thank you so much for helping to fund this project. My students have been loving our new Cricut machine and we have been able to come up with some cool new things for our classroom. We have made tags for our book bags so that we know where we are going and who are teachers are. We also made personalized cups that the children LOVED! I remember as a child how excited I was when I found something with my name on it in a store. Well, kids today have that same excitement. They all were so excited to see their own name on the cups. We plan on making t-shirts next! Thank you for bringing such joy to myself and my class.”

Funded May 22, 2024Thank you so much for helping to fund this project. My students were very excited when they saw the boxes. When I opened them and they saw new crayons they were all cheering and screaming. Everyone loves a new box of Crayola crayons. We have been using the dry erase boards everyday to help build our reading, writing and math skills. The children love that one side of the board has lines to help them write neatly and the other side is blank so they can draw and do their math on it. Thank you so much for helping to bring smiles to my students faces and joy in their hearts. Sometimes it is little things that can make a big impact.
We also have been using the phonics boards and paddles. The children feel like they are just playing games when really they are working hard. Thank you so much for making all of this possible.”

Funded May 14, 2024Thank you so much for helping me fund the project. We have received our water cooler and the kids are loving life! Our classroom has been so hot lately and they are extremely happy to be able to have nice cold water during the school day. This has been even more helpful after recess and gym. My scholars always seem to work up a sweat and now they are able to cool themselves off a little with the cold water. We are also looking forward to next winter when we will be able to make the children hot chocolate when it is cold and dreary outside. Thank you for bringing such joy into my classroom.”

Funded May 9, 2024Thank you so much for funding this project. My students were so excited to get new centers and activities to enjoy. Our lunch bunch were able to pick a center that they thought everyone would enjoy. I printed it and laminated it and we played it the next day. They all loved it and had so much fun, that they didn't even realize that they were practicing their reading skills. This was only possible because of your generous support. Thank you so much for helping me bring joy to my students but also sneak in some learning.”

Funded Oct 19, 2023Thank you so much for funding this project! My students were beyond excited when they saw new treasure chest treats and yummy candy treats. We had our first treasure chest day yesterday and they were all so excited to be able to choose if they wanted a snack or a toy. They were all asking each other what did they think they should choose. Every child left yesterday with a smile on his/her face. That was achieved through your generosity.
We were able to use the storage boxes to organize our math manipulatives and centers. This has made it easier for us to gather our supplies and clean up when it is time. Thank you so much for helping me joy into my students lives!”

Funded Sep 26, 2023Thank you so much for funding this project. It came just in time as many of my students had broken or lost most of their crayons. I was able to make bags for each of them with the supplies they need to achieve success in my classroom. They were so excited when they walked in and saw new personalized pencil cases filled with goodies. It was so wonderful to see their little faces light up when they saw the new crayons, glue sticks, dry erase markers and felt to clean their boards. They all started screaming when I opened the new box of dry erase boards. They couldn't believe that they each were able to have one and keep it in their desks.
Our name tags on our desks were getting pulled up and a little messy. I was able to tape them all down and they looked as good as new. Thank you for bringing such joy to my classroom. These little items brought such excitement and happiness into my room.”

Funded Jun 20, 2023Thank you so much for helping with this project. I believe that all children need and deserve a strong foundation for reading. This small group manipulative box is going to help tremendously. Each child in my small group is going to have access to their own set of reading supplies. While learning to stretch out their words they can used the pop-it tools and 'pop' each and every sound. The magnetic wards can allow the children to blend the sounds as they swipe up the magnetic tiles. My students already love small group time because I am able to focus more time on them. They are going to be so excited to have all these fun 'toys' to make our small group time even more fun. I wouldn't have been able to provide my students with these special supplies without your help. Thank you so much!!”

Funded Jan 23, 2023Thank you so much for funding this project. My students are loving all our new additions to the classroom. Recess time has become much more entertaining. We have construction going on in our school yard so we have limited space to play, but now with our balls and chalk it has become much more exciting. We have been writing our sight words and trying to hit them with the balls. Lots of cheering and encouraging each other during play time. Our treasure chest has been updated with lots of new prizes and it has helped motivate my students so much. All of this enjoyment would not be happening everyday if it wasn't for you. Thank you!!”

Center Time is Learning Time!
Funded Jan 23, 2023SO MUCH FUN!! that is what my students keep saying everyday when they have center time. Thank you so much for making that possible. The children are having so much fun that they are not even realizing how much they are learning. They were so amazed with the power pens. They loved how it let the know right away if they were right or wrong. I hear many of them saying "yes!!!" when they get it right and the pen turns green. Their smiles are so big and bright. The pop it games are so much fun. They are giggling and practicing their phonic skills. Center time really is a wonderful time in my classroom where the children are learning, playing and having a ball. I hear almost everyday 'that was so much fun' and 'you are the best teacher'. Thank you so much for bringing so much joy to my classroom!”
