  • Building a Library...One Book at a Time

    Your donation has tremendously made a positive impact on the students in my classroom. Students have gone from the inability to express their emotions in a positive way to talking through their feelings and using the books within this project to speak.

    Oftentimes it is a challenge for students to express how they are feeling without becoming physical or aggressive. With these stories, students are able to recognize their emotions and use the sayings or cool down methods to get through their hard times.

    Without your generous donation, my students would continue to struggle through their emotions. Thank you for everything you have done to help build a stronger community within my classroom!”

    Thank you so much for your generous donations to help make our art dreams come true! Students are able to express themselves through their paintings and enjoy making things for others. They were so excited to see the new painting easel and all the supplies upon arrival.

    Students were able to use these supplies to create Valentines for their friends and family. They will continue to create things for others.

    As a group made up of varying abilities, students are able to use their individual creativity to participate in group activities.

This will give students the ability to create a community with building art and sharing it with classmates. Building a sense of community creates a safe learning environment to students. This new art center will provide access to all students to express themselves and share with others. As this is a new program within the school, we are building up our resources and finding ways to provide students with access to the necessary materials to support future learning.
