My third grade students will be journaling this year to aid in their social emotional learning. By supplying students with their own journal and stickers to decorate it, I hope to encourage them to process their emotions in productive ways and stay ready to learn! My students will be engaging in guided reading groups this year, improving their literacy skills and cultivating their love of reading! With chart paper and Sharpies, we will be able to record our thoughts and display them in the classroom. A Chromebook will help improve our school's technology-to-student ratio and open doors for students.
