There are not enough words to express my joy, gratitude, and thanks for your generous donations to my class project. My students and I are so very appreciative of your support for education. We are looking forward to receiving the projector, dry-erase board and headphones. They will be great tools as we continue to grow and learn outside of the classroom. We can't wait to share some pictures of us using our learning tools! Thank you ,again!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Solis

Thank you for your kind and generous donation! You have made our very rainy season fun and exciting! Your help has really saved my class from true boredom. They have enjoyed working with the games as they build teamwork effort. My third grade students have been practicing basic things like taking turns, playing fair, following rules and being a good sport! Thank you for being a great part of this growth. They have been maturing and learning to be part of a greater group. We truly appreciate all you have done to make our school year a better place to enjoy learning! May you receive kindness and blessings as you have given us!”
Thank you so much for your help in getting my project funded! I can't say enough about how much the materials have helped my students learn about science, social studies, reading and math. It helped my students become even more amazed about the great people that surround us everyday! They were amazed by all your kindness. That encourages all of us to do our best! It personally helps me restore some faith in humanity when people like you help children like my students move forward in their education.”
Thank you for your amazing help with the Chromebooks you donated to my class! My students and their families are so grateful! They have been able to work on them daily in small groups just like we had planned. They are learning to research, create documents on Google Docs, make presentations and sharing their work with me! It's been making them feel great about writing! Even my reluctant writers have been excited about researching and writing! It's been amazing how this tool has made learning more accessible for my students! I cannot express how happy and motivated my students are about learning daily! Thanks a million for your generous donations and kindness! May you receive many blessings for many years to come!”
Thank you so much for all your amazing donations. My students were so excited to receive microscopes, science specimens of life cycles, science fossil kits, headphones, a new radio, and books with Cd's. They were very curious about using these new science materials. As little second graders they are loving these exploration tools. Our new theme titled "Growing and Changing" in reading involved learning about animals and their life cycles. I used these items in centers for children to explore and learn from them. Many of them say that they would love to explore careers in the sciences now. This is an amazing gift for our students. They can't wait to go to their science centers and practice writing and reading. Even my attendance has improved! For the past months my students have been at the top of our school's attendance. Thank you for these wonderful gifts. Can't thank you enough for your kindness and generosity.”
My students are currently second graders, living right in the heart of Los Angeles. Many of them are recent immigrant families living in a very economically disadvantaged neighborhood. They are all second language learners. Some of these families actually speak indigenous languages. This often presents an even greater challenge because parents cannot provide academic support even in Spanish. The families I work with often have to work two shifts to provide for their families. Some of these families live together to help each other with the rent. They are very loving parents and try to provide for their children the best they can, but it is very difficult earning very low wages from the local downtown garment district. Children have some trouble acquiring the language and therefore need extra support and tutoring when learning English. But when it comes to math and science, they can be amazing! When students get tested for gifted program, this is where their strength comes in!
