The pretend and play items will help each child grow individually by providing realistic items the children may see in their individual homes. Our kids have disabilities and struggle with learning and expressing themselves like other children, so being express themselves through play and finding different opportunities to help them learn in each center for example the Black and Decker table to can be used to learn how to count or to improve on fine motor or gross motor skills. The pretend food and utensils can help with cognitive skills and the activity table set will help improve fine motor skills as well. All of these individual items will serve a specific purpose for each child.
