I would like to lead my students through science based STEM projects (Following 4th grade NGSS), reading, writing, and art projects to let their creativity have a safe space in my classroom. My students love to be hands on, especially after virtual learning had them hands off for so long. I also want to provide as many opportunities for social emotional learning and show diversity and equity through reading about history, civil rights, and the push for change (current events). I will begin adding these experiences to our curriculum and help our students become community leaders and environmental activists.
