These books will help my students grow as readers. Many of the books in this project are graphic novels, which students of many reading levels can access. My students are voracious readers of graphic novels. I have also included some books in Spanish for my students who are learning English, but still need to practice their reading. Many of these books are reflective of the identities of the students who are in my class, helping center their identities and experience with the books that they have access to in my classroom. These books would be a wonderful update to my current classroom library. Every time I bring a new book or books into my classroom, my students are incredibly excited and immediately devour those books.
