This classroom project was brought to life by Emerson Collective and 2 other donors.

Students need a place to house all of their writing to not only see their progression over time, but also to have a work they can be proud of at the end of the year. Teaching English to newcomers and emergent bilinguals during such a difficult time presents its unique struggles. Finally returning back to on campus learning, my students need stability, and so having a common folder to store their work, composition books to write all of their daily journals, and snacks to avoid hunger-- since most of my students have not eaten the entire day when getting to my classroom-- would be a huge support in the academic success of my students.
