The journals and writing prompts will be used in collaboration with teachers as we work together to Bridge the gap between social emotional learning and academics. Our students will learn the importance of acquiring social emotional skills and how it is a part of our everyday life. We are striving to build future leaders as we embrace a holistic approach. We are also working on a creating an outdoor counseling space. Ideally, we would love to take advantage of our outdoor space and help our students connecting to nature and one another. We want to foster the skill of being present. Thereby, increasing their ability to reflect before reacting. A connected community is powerful!

About my class
