Have you ever sat in place for too long and started to feel bored or uncomfortable? For my 2nd graders that can happen a lot, especially on days when they can’t go outside to play because of rain or bad weather. Having different seating gives students the option of learning from different stations around the room in different styles of seating. This will not only help them stay focused on their learning but also give us the ability to break into small groups to do projects or receive specialized instruction to meet each students' needs.
