I am working to create a classroom that is filled with energy, creativity, and beauty. After a bleak and uncertain past few years, I wish to engage my students by creating a space where they are eager to come and learn every day. My classroom will be a safe place where students feel comfortable trying new things, connecting, and pushing themselves academically and socially. I wish to build an organized, effective, efficient, and eye-catching classroom that sets students up for success; I know my students deserve this and more. I plan to use these materials to support the whole student. Creating an aesthetically pleasing classroom can be costly due to outdated cosmetics & limited resources. However, seeing students illuminate with excitement for their learning is priceless. This project will ultimately help create a learning space that students will be proud of. It is an innovative way for a new educator to engage students and provide them with a safe space that they would not be cautious to learn in.
