Today's learners many times struggle to learn at their best potential when they are forced to sit still for entire class periods. Our bodies were not meant to be stationary! This grant will allow our classroom to purchase 2 standing desks for students to use. Standing desks can help increase a student's attentiveness and energy levels. Many students ask to stand and move during class. These desks will give students a chance to focus better and make them more comfortable in their environment. Because of this, they will be able to become more actively engage in learning.

About my class
