  • Mrs. Edwards' Eager Einstein's

    Funded Nov 24, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity. Without you, I would not be able to provide my classroom with extra hands on activities and rewards to keep them striving to learn and be the best students they can be! Your donations will go on to impact students for years to come.”

  • Take A Seat and Build Something Fun!

    Funded May 7, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations. Because of you, I am able to better serve the students in my classroom. The rug is perfect for helping define spaces for children to sit in and keep safe, while the stadium chairs are a wonderful treat for reading time.

As always, building blocks and creature builders are excellent manipulatives to have in order to let students use their imagination. Their creations spark so many emotions and conversations between peers which fosters wonderful relationships between the students.

As a first this year, we were all able to make sensory jars that are the perfect size for these tiny hands. They have had the best time choosing colors and watching the glitter swirl and fall. It is truly a calming activity for them.

Again, none of this would be possible without your help and I truly will never be able to express how grateful I am for all of your support.”

  • Learning is Looking, Listening, and Laughing

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

You have no idea how much my students and myself appreciate your generosity. Thanks to you, we have new options for seating that can help kids concentrate and focus a little better.

We were able to get a classroom pet fish, George Kevin Jeffery. He has a wonderful and colorful habitat to swim and live in. Having him allows the students to participate in caring for something, learning about life cycles, responsibility, and he is also very calming to watch. We even took a vote on what to name him and discussed positional words like first, second, and third. There is so much learning and active participation when it comes to living creatures in a classroom.

Next up we are hoping to get a new rug with better, more defined spots for seating. We hope it will provide us with more and different opportunities to learn. We also plan to grow our manipulatives shelf and give students more ways to build and express their thoughts and creativity. Learning can always be fun if you have the right tools.”

  • Art Is Good for the Heart

    Funded Apr 3, 2023

You have no idea how much your donations mean to me and my students. Because of your generosity, we have all of the supplies necessary to allow our students to create to their full potential.

The construction paper, eyes, markers, etc. are the perfect items that speak to a child's imagination and gives them the medium to make those things come to life. Without art, not a single student would be able to express themselves in a way that fully shows who they are and what they are like.

The gears and magnet toys allow the students to build and construct anything they can dream of. It encourages them to work together and to problem solve when the pathway or set up isn't working the right way.

Without these hands-on activities, our students wouldn't be able to learn and express themselves in fun imaginative ways. We owe it all to you.”

  • Let All Be Loved and Welcome

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for your more than generous donations. Because of you, my classroom is able to have our ABC literacy tubs displayed in a nice organized way. This allows the students to see all letters at the same time and gives them access to learn about them in a hands-on way.

I am also able to provide the perfect place for a reading area or calm down corner for my students. The happy hut is just the right size for a beanbag, a few sensory pillows, and room for a friend or two to enjoy a little bit of quiet time. It is used for so alone time for those who are being over stimulated and as a reward resting place for the best listeners of the day. Who knew a simple tent could be so versatile in a classroom?

Thank you again for all that you do and for believing in me and my students so that we may all reach or full potential!”

  • Learning Through Your Senses

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

I am blown away the amount of support my class has received from you all. These items have made so much difference in the atmosphere of my classroom. The wobble chairs have been a perfect addition to allow my students to get their wiggles out yet concentrate on learning at the same time. The abc lock and keys have quickly become a favorite activity for my students and, much like the unicorns, have been a very strong visual for them to learn which capital letters match with which lower case letters. Goop, orbeez, sand, and fluff have made the biggest messes but the most fun in our sensory bins and scavenger hunts. None of this would have been possible without all of your help!”

  • Let's Get Creative!!!

    Funded Mar 2, 2022

I want you to know how much I truly appreciate your donations to my classroom. With this project being funded, we were able to learn about the life cycle of plants, grow interactive "tickle me" plants, decorate a flower pot and send it all home as a Mother's Day gift near the end of our school year. The students all loved seeing the new goodies and practicing their name writing on the magnetic doodles. The collection for my treasure box really topped off the excitement when they dug through them picking out a reward. There is no way my class to do as many cool and fun things without all of your help.”

  • Manipulatives for Mrs. Edwards

    Funded Sep 24, 2021

You all have no idea how much your gracious donations have benefited my students. They have more to do and keep their attention throughout the day. They are being provided more ways and opportunites to develop their gross and fine motor skills all while playing with toys that they love.

Along with the motor skills, they are learning social skills. Skills like sharing, communication, and working together. All things they need to be know in order to be successful throughout life.

Everytime I am able to pull out a new toy or teach them how to use the materials, the students are so excited and can't wait to test their abilities and see what they can build. It is even better when the materials can incorporate letters and numbers for added learning! Thank you all again. I apprectiate everthing you have done for my little classroom!”

  • Mrs. Edwards' Preschool Classroom

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thank you so much for donating to my classroom. The students have thouroughly enjoyed all the new things that have helped to fill my new classroom. The magnet puzzles are one of the favorites for a special needs student and are the perfect size to carry around or put in the emergency bag and bring along for all of our transitions. The whole punches have made prepping for our many crafts so much easier and faster!

The students loved watching me unbox all of our new goodies and did a wonderful job passing them around. They were so excited to try everything out and very much enjoy having the chance to use it all.

We will continue doing our projects as we are working hard to learn our letters and make a new letter every week. We are planning to make an ABC book with our own letter crafts to take home and continue practicing the alphabet throughout the summer and in preparation for kindergarten.”

    Mrs. Edwards

These items will be shared between all the students in my classroom. These items are necessary for providing them with fun, interactive, and creative activites throughout the school day. By allowing the students to play together and use all of their senses to explore and learn, we are fostering their social and emotional development and preparing them for the transition into kindergarten. The best way for a child to learn is through play and stimulation. The items on this list will help me to give them the best education I can through hands-on art, sensory stations, and organization for easy transitions.
