Let's Count the Stars
Funded Aug 28, 2022Thank you for you incredible generosity to my classroom. Reading is truly a gift! It is a way for us all to escape and immerse ourselves into the story. I had the pleasure of growing up with novel studies in school. English was my favorite subject because of it! My students love diving into our novel studies and I am elated that we will get to start this novel soon! Novel studies teach many important skills including identifying key details in the text and reading comprehension skills! I again appreciate your generosity and kindness.”

Among the Readers!
Funded Mar 10, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom! Your donation makes all the difference to my students. With your generous donation, I was able to provide my students with the gift of reading an exciting novel, Among the Hidden! Skills introduced with this new text include identifying key details, quoting accurately from the text, comparing and contrasting characters and identifying a theme.
Reading is very exciting in my classroom. My students and I read a chapter a day ! By the end, students are begging to read more! They get so invested in the story and they always want to know what happens next. All my students enjoy the new books! They love to predict what will happen in the story. Some of their ideas are so creative!
Again, thank you so much for your generous donation! It makes all the difference :)”

Manipulative Learnin!
Funded Nov 10, 2021Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom! Your donations have provided manipulatives for mathematics, testing, and social emotional learning! We love using our fraction multipliers and place value coins to assist us in our learning and comprehending the subject matter! We also love learning our social emotional prompts every morning as a journal prompt. Meaningful discussions have arisen from these prompts causing the students to emphasize and learn more about themselves and the people around them.
My students were surprised and happy when they first saw the materials! They LOVED having all these manipulatives to help them in their learning. It made learning more entertaining and engaging for them!”
With gratitude,
