My students come from a variety of economical and social backgrounds. Many of the students come from families in which both parents need to work and are not home until late in the evening. Many children have told me they are not allowed to go outside and play, because it is too late when they get home. Obesity is a growing problem in all our children. Unfortunately, our students are only given 30 minutes of physical education 2x's a week - they need more!
