Students in fourth grade will study plant erosion and the parts of the plant. We have integrated social science and a departmentalized fourth grade. Each teacher on my team teaches their homeroom science and social sciences. The books will be used for the students to read while they are in class and shared with each teacher on my team. The plants will be used when we are showing the students how plants grow, the parts of the plant and when we talk about plant erosion. This will intensify our science learning in fourth grade.
