Growing Our Classroom Community

Our classroom "Growing Our Classroom Community," was the highlight of the year! Students were absolutely amazed by all of the exciting materials, educational supplies, tech gadgets, prizes/treats for classroom incentives, our GIANT spinner, sharing stool, and more!

Our students recently did Animal Research Projects and were joyed to be able to sit on the "sharing stool," ask our Amazon Alexa Echo Dot questions about their animals, and record their answers. The line to ask questions was LONG! We use the Amazon Alexa Echo Dot THE MOST in our classroom. We set alarms, ask her to spell things, let her answer our curiosities, ask her the time, set timers for work, and more!

Our classroom prize bin has never looked so good with the addition of our sticker store! It's a big hit. For class meetings, we have been able to incorporate many Social Emotional Learning lessons into our days. The last part of our class meetings involves spinning our BIG WHEEL of activities. It's definitely something that students look forward to as they walk in each morning. T
