These specially designed singing masks will allow students to breathe deeply and sing freely in their ensembles. Singing with traditional masks is really difficult. Every time students inhale, the front of their mask is pulled into their mouths! This can make singing very uncomfortable. We sang during summer school in traditional masks, and my students, even though they were struggling, NEVER gave up, and ALWAYS participated in rehearsal. Singing masks will prevent the inhalation of mask material and allow a wider area around the mouth for clearer breathing and singing, while still providing responsible COVID protections.
