After a virtual/hybrid first year of teaching, I want to create a safe and engaging classroom for my students. Since we were only in the school building for about two months last year, my students didn't get the classroom they deserved. These materials will help create an organized and positive environment for my students to learn in. Creating a safe space is one of the first steps to building relationships with students. These items will help build my classroom into a place where students can build relationships, share, and grow during our time together. Post-its are one of my favorite things! I can write myself reminders and they can be used in a variety of ways during instruction. Chair bands help students fidget, but stay focused while doing so. The hanging folders and crates will be a place for students to find makeup work and extra materials.
