  • Project Be Kind

    Funded Mar 22, 2024

    The resources for this project will allow my students to plan and implement a community service activity that will benefit both my students and the community. The Spin wheel will be utilized to engage with the community and peers by having student generated questions circulating mental health and the spirit of compassion. Peers will spin the wheel, learn, share, and receive inspirational stickers, journal notebooks, inspirational wristbands, etc. These items will be tangible reminders to lead with kindness and compassion. This student-led community service activity will engage in acts of kindness, awareness, and service. Students will have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others and build a sense of unity within our community. My students will develop a deeper understanding of how we can work together to address issues that affect our community, strengthen leadership skills, and model to a commitment to making a positive impact. Be kind and lead with ALOHA.”

  • Soar the Possibilities to Create

    We are incredibly grateful for your support of our "Soar the Possibilities to Create" project! Your generosity has provided our students with the tools they need to develop critical 21st-century skills, preparing them for the future job market in exciting and meaningful ways.

    Thanks to you, our students now have access to a drone fly cam and microphone set, allowing them to create innovative projects that build leadership, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills. These resources will open doors to hands-on learning experiences that push them to think critically, engage deeply, and share their knowledge with the community.

    With these new tools, our students will explore the hospitality and tourism industry through dynamic storytelling, video production, and voiceover creation. They will capture unique perspectives, produce engaging content, and gain valuable real-world experience that will inspire them to never settle for anything less than their best.

  • Giving Voice to Students: a Student-Led Podcast

    We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our Podcast project. Your contributions have made a profound impact on our students' learning experiences, and we are excited to share how the technology you helped provide is transforming our classroom.

    Many of our students are already familiar with technology at home, but what's truly remarkable is how it enhances there learning in school. One of the most exciting aspects of this project was seeing the students get excited, curious, and self motivated to learn. One particular students who struggled with coming to school and staying engaged, found her voice being able to create eposides on topics that concerned her.

    Overall, all students actively participated in designing, researching, and creating eposides.

  • Building Industry Entrepreneurs

    Funded Mar 4, 2023

    Students were beyond excited to use the equipment that you provided them. They were able to apply and build transferable skills like teamwork, communication, work ethics, and customer service. They set up several workstations during the school year that allowed them to create real-life pop-up concession stands to sell hot dogs, shave ice, and spam bowls. Students used their experience to build up for their presentation competition a few months later. Thank you for contributing to their success and making their learning more meaningful.”
