A classroom must have organization. Students will be responsible for color-coding their work and place in plastic bins. This will hold them accountable and ensure that their work is on time and in its proper place. Since the classroom is focusing on U.S. Government and Economics, it is important to have an updated poster showcasing our great presidents. It is also beneficial for scholars to see visual aids that showcase how our government works. They will also use markers to write on the board during lessons. After a long day of learning, scholars can earn treats.
Students have a high level of investment in their learning when the classroom is equipped with the materials that they need. Something simple as material to organize work can assist with organization skills. Students should be able to participate by writing items on the board for their classmates to see. It helps when visual aids that go along with the lesson are displayed around the room. A teacher can never go wrong with providing a reward for just going the extra mile. Something simple as something sweet can remind them of how sweet they really are.
