Reading an actual book will never be substituted by computers and or tablets. My classroom library is made of many old grimy books. Yesterday my friend was helping me out to set up my classroom and saw a pile of children's old book, he exclaimed: " Oh mine are these books thirty years old?" I felt somewhat ashamed of my classroom library, as a new teacher I never had money to buy a lot of new books, I started inspecting the books and mostly were yucky. I believe if I had nicer books my students would be more excited about reading them and able experience the taste and pleasure of flipping thorough a new a book. And also allow me to have more beautiful books to read aloud to my students.
