Empowering Young Artists with Essential Art Supplies
Funded Sep 3, 2024Thanks to the generous contributions of our donors, my students have been thriving with the new art supplies. The construction paper, oil pastels, paintbrushes, and other materials have brought their creativity to life in ways I couldn't have imagined. One standout project was creating mixed-media landscapes where students used oil pastels to draw 1 point perspectives and another collaged construction paper to form layered mountains. Seeing their excitement as they explored blending techniques and intricate paper-cutting designs was truly heartwarming. One student proudly shared, "This is art project is fun and I like the way it turned out!" It was a joy to see their confidence grow as they experimented with professional-quality tools.
When the students first saw the materials, their eyes lit up with wonder and excitement. Many couldn't wait to dive in, eagerly asking, "Can we use these today?" The new organizational caddies also transformed the classroom's workflow, allowing students to easily access what they needed and focus more on their creative process. As we continue to use these materials, the next big project on the horizon is designing holiday-themed greeting cards, which will help students learn about symmetry and cultural traditions while creating something meaningful to share with loved ones. These resources have not only enhanced their artistic skills but have also deepened their love for art. Thank you for making this possible!”

Innovating Robotics
Funded Sep 2, 2021First, thank you for your generous contribution to our students this year! Your donation has positively impacted the way that students were able to learn in my class space.
We had our 400 students successfully build and code their own original creation using Lego pieces. For some students, this was their first time ever getting hands on Legos and coding. They were so excited to be challenged and learn new content they wouldn't normally get to do! These projects really got them thinking and working together. From seeing how each block connected to understanding how each code worked really fascinated students, especially seeing everything come together.
Now that students have gotten their hands on these Legos, they are wanting to build more and learn how to code them even more. And so, these Legos will be used as students create Lego builds for their upcoming Science Fair proposals!”
