These materials will ensure my students are reading on their independent reading level. Its a great tool because it has a variety of books for each level. They will be kept in the classroom so students can share them and discuss what they read together in pairs or small groups. If a prospective donor walked into my classroom, they will see students diving into great books and reading on the level that they are at during Independent reading time. Being that I used this same classroom library with my third graders in the past, I know my first graders will benefit even more from it.
