Thank you so much for your kind donation. This iPad has allowed me to incorporate interactive activities in our therapy session, download visual supports and AAC apps for students with limited verbal skills, and incorporate technology into their speech therapy sessions to make it more fun and rewarding for them!!
The iPad also served as a great tool for all of my virtual meetings, as I was able to use video platforms to include participants.
I was also able to utilize therapy apps, such as Boom Cards, utilize my personalized Google drive activities for each student, and use it as a reward system throughout therapy activities. I am so grateful and it was well used!!”

As a new graduate who just started working as a speech therapist, I don't have many materials to provide my students with. However, as a public school employee, I must supply all of my own materials. There is currently a huge gap between what my students need to adequately practice their speech skills and what supplies I am able to provide. Please consider funding this project for speech therapy materials that will help me facilitate students in achieving their goals across all areas of communication. These materials will help make a difference in my students' learning because it will allow us access to an array of resources through the internet and apps to help target therapy goals and reach their full potential in speech, language, and hearing. These will also help them to become more confident and comfortable using technology which is such a crucial skill to children during these uncertain times in the pandemic. These materials will help me to keep my therapy sessions new, engaging, and exciting each day which will help motivate each student. They will also allow me to easily keep and create personalized therapy sessions specific to each individual child. The headset will help me to better hear and communicate over virtual meetings and therapy sessions to best reach my students and their families.
