As the new school counselor for this building, I will play an important role in ensuring that all students have successful educational experiences. I will work closely with administrators and other school counselors in order to build a supportive program. All of these materials will help me to create a positive and successful school counseling program. The program will consist of classroom lessons, individual counseling, and group counseling focusing on three important areas of development: academic, career, and social/emotional. In addition, some of the materials will allow to me create a welcoming classroom space where students will get to play games which helps when having difficult conversations.
