  • Calling All Presenters

    Funded May 20, 2024

Thank you so much for your donations, but unfortunately because we live in Hawaii, the 55 inch television was not available to be shipped to Hilo, Hawaii. However, we were able to get these educational games and other classroom supplies for my students. They really appreciated the art drying rack which will come in handy in the future for drying our art work. We are still awaiting the ship of the LCD writing tablets that we will be using in writers workshop and small group time. My students just love the recently purchased games. They are always asking when will it be free carpet time to play the new games.

Our school is a Title 1 school and the students and I are very thankful for your generous donations for our classroom. We would also like to send out heartfelt hugs to the donors for all of your continued support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Yoshizumi

  • Art Therapy

    Funded Nov 18, 2023

Thank you very much for the incredible impact your recent donation has had on my classroom. Your generosity has opened up a world of possibilities for my students, and I am truly thankful for the support you have provided.

The Playdoh, Wikki Stix, sketchbooks, color books and art supplies purchased for the classroom have already become integral components of our learning environment. These materials have sparked enthusiasm and engagement among the students to discover and inspire their creations.

The playdoh and wikki stix helps to promote hands-on learning experiences. My students get to explore their imagination, building, shaping and creating with these versatile tools. The joy and laughter that fill our classroom as they mold and experiment with these materials are priceless moments to see and hear.

The art supplies, sketchbooks and color books have empowered the students to express themselves creatively. They feel a sense of pride bringing their unique ideas to life on paper.

Once again, thank you for your generosity. Your donation has made a significant difference in our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Yoshizumi

  • Create, Play and Learn

    Funded Nov 1, 2022

Thank you for your generous donations! The students and I were so excited receiving our new resources for our classroom! Many of the students were saying "WOW!" or "YAY!" with their smiling faces.

The students are making very good use of the new resources to create, play and learn. The new games such as corn hole and bean bag toss have been a big hit with them. They love to play bean bag toss especially on rainy days. These games help them socially to interact with the other students and also emotionally for their mental health to release anxieties and have some fun.

The rolling utility cart is very handy to store our outdoor recess equipment for cones, balls, hula hoops, twisters and corn hole / bean bag toss in an organized way. The other resources such as the "calming tools" have been great for their emotional learning. The students enjoy playing with their individual fidgit toys, pop its and squishies. They also LOVE to create new things with the wikki stix!

For our upcoming project, we plan to make a portrait for Mother's day with the canvas and paints.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Yoshizumi

  • Jump Back Into In Person Learning

    Funded Aug 18, 2021

Thank you for our new resources for our classroom! The students are making good use of all of the supplies. They especially love the book/storage bins and Wiki sticks, modeling dough and zippered pouches. It allows every student to keep their supplies and belongings organized and keeping them safe bu minimizing the spread germs to one another. The students were so happy and excited to receive the new resources given to them! Some of the students felt it was like getting presents and when it wasn't even their birthday. They absolutely love using it during rainy day recess!”

    With gratitude,
