Classroom Library: A Reflection Of Me

I am happy to share that it has been a wonderful 3 months with our new library! As you remember, my students had a very limited class library at the beginning of the year. Your generous contribution has positively impacted and shaped our classroom in the most amazing way.

My students have shown such a renewed interest in reading and book exploration. With over 100 books and a variety of genres, my students have the power of choice. As they make choices about their books and reading experience, they are becoming more self-aware about the literature they connect with. Every time they visit our class library, there is a new book or genre that piques their interest.

It brings such joy to see my Scholars excited about and empowered by reading. Since expanding our class library, my students have demonstrated great improvement in productivity, reading stamina, reading fluency, and reading comprehension. As a new teacher, I am looking forward to seeing how this library grows and continues to impact the classes to come.”
