Some of my students will often come to class tired and hungry. I would like to offer them a snack and motivate them to engage in their studies and perhaps look forward to coming to school. I have found that giving them a snack helps a student focus when they aren't distracted from hunger pains. I teach 5th grade and most of my students are experiencing hormonal changes (puberty). I would like to provide deodorant for students and wipes if they wish to keep clean because sometimes their resources are limited at home. Female students also have specific needs. I would like to help and educate them on how to properly take care of their growing needs. Thank you!
