Kids are so happy to be back at physical school this year. We're working so much on life skills in addition to standards based curriculum. Taking turns, speaking kindly, and other soft skills are a big part of our year. Having places to keep work and supplies organized creates an environment ready for learning. Time for Kids is a great resource for young learners. They hear about current events but sometimes feel overwhelmed by such things. These weekly magazines bring concepts down to the right level and give us chances to work on all kinds of literacy skills.
