After the last year and a half of students being stuck at home, I am excited to finally welcome them into my classroom in person. I am a 2nd year teacher who was just informed that I'll be teaching math for the entire 5th grade. As exciting as that is, I do not have the necessary materials for that! This is my first year physically in a classroom and I do not have the materials that seasoned teachers do. I want to make this school year so special for my students. I want them to fall in love with learning again by getting to work on hands-on projects, practice teamwork, challenge themselves, complete STEM activities and more. I am going to use these resources to make math exciting and engaging!
