I plan to create the most exciting classroom environment possible. I want to get a series of blackout curtains to make my room truly dark (for the right moments) and then adorn my room with various glow-in-the-dark stars and a 3-D moon that will cycle through the phases. Creating this environment will immediately ramp up the level of engagement for my students, as well as provide me the opportunity to run new and exciting lab experiments devoted entirely to studies on light, stellar spectra, and much more.
